Role Introduction

Role: Test Engineer

What You Will Do

  • Learn our products and become SME
  • Build and implement test automation frameworks
  • Technology focused, agnostic to tools, adaptable to change in technology
  • Design test cases, implement and execute
  • Test for accuracy, usability and accessibility
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Accurate recording and reporting of defects
  • Implement Automated CI/CD processes using Jenkins, Harness tools

 

What You Will Have

Job requirements:

  • 3 – 6 years of IT experience

Key skills:

  • Good knowledge of SQL/ Relational Databases
  • Knowledge of any Test Management tool – TFS, HP ALM, VSTS
  • Working knowledge of any scripting/coding language
  • Experience with scripting using automation tools – Selenium, Testcomplete, UFT
  • Knowledge of AWS fundamentals
  • Good writer & verbal communication and analytical skills

 

Desirable skills:

  • COBOL / JCL / MVS
  • Agile, Jira, TDD
  • Familiarity with Unit test frameworks - JUnit and Jest/Jasmine
  • Hands on knowledge of jvisualvm or jmeter
  • Practical skills in CI/CD: Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins
