The candidate will be handling complex infrastructure Environment across multiple Customers and also possess strong Technical skills, Analytical, trouble shooting skillset with knowledge of understanding in-depth of the Server Management, Infrastructure and Support.

• Cover 7x24x365 as part of a shift rota
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for server infrastructure
• Assist other teams with infrastructure issues
• Proactively manage and administer server environments; analyse customer requirements, gather, and analyse   data, recommending solutions
• Assist with implementation and testing of DR solutions for new and existing customers
• Conduct and report root cause and problem investigation for infrastructure and application issues to senior management
• Review and implement security recommendations
• Investigate and report security breaches
• Product / update support documentation
• Undertake knowledge transfer to internal operation teams
• Provide technical support as requested
• Providing software upgrades and delivery, 3rd line support and consultancy on the squad portfolio.
• Driving continual service improvement, best practice, iterative efficiencies, and cost savings.
• Authoring technically accurate documentation that is structured and relevant to the audience.
• Ensuring compliance to relevant standards, both operational and security and help to ensure we can control, report, and adequately measure and handle risks the business faces.
• Maintaining good culture; working collaboratively, always being part of the solution.

• VMware ESXi 5.5/6.0
• Windows and hardware clustering technologies
• Security products (such as anti-virus, firewall etc)
• Backup solutions (i.e. VEEAM, Backup Exec etc)
• Mobility solutions (Exchange ActiveSync, Airwatch etc)
• Familiarity with ITSM tools to effectively manage workloads.
• A capability of problem solving, undertaking, or designing tests to eliminate possible issues and working quickly and efficiently towards a solution.
• A commitment to participate in continual improvement processes.
• Knowledge and experience of server infrastructure and associated technologies along with an understanding of hosting approaches (dedicated hosting, colocation, public/private cloud).
• A willingness to learn AWS or Azure Services and work towards one of the following accreditations:
  • Microsoft Azure – AZ-900, AZ-300, AZ-301
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
