Role Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Management Lead to join our team and lead our account management efforts across ANZ. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing and growing customer relationships within the technology industry, ideally in the spend management space. As the Account Management Lead you will be responsible for leading a team of account managers and driving revenue growth across three software products in spend management. Additionally, you will be advising customers on their maturity journey in the field of spend management, and will also be responsible for managing a small portfolio of Tier 1 customers.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage a team of account managers to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals across ANZ
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and increase customer loyalty across three software products in spend management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including a small portfolio of Tier 1 customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, new business sales, product and marketing, to ensure customer needs are met
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development for the account management team
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to ensure team and individual performance meets or exceeds expectations
  • Understand the spend management customer landscape and advise customers on their maturity journey
  • Managing pipeline, account management cadence and forecasting accuracy.

What You Will Have

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management and 2-3 years in team leadership within the technology industry, preferablyin the spend management space
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth through strategic account management
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot) tools and data analysis
  • Understanding of the spend management customer landscape and ability to advise customers on their maturity journey
  • Experience in managing a small portfolio of Tier 1 customers
  • Ability to build strong supporting relationships with the team
  • Driven to reach sales target
