Role Introduction

  • This role involves guiding the development team towards successful project delivery
  • Involves working in a collaborative environment and focus on leading team and providing technical leadership to team members working on multiple products/skills.
  • Co-ordinating with multiple teams within organization

What You Will Do

  • Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
  • Ensure development quality is maintained by team
  • Ensure the quality of product development through automated unit testing, peer code reviews etc.
  • Identify and implement best practices for improvement towards delivery.
  • Ensure best practices/process are documented for reusability.
  • Identify and implement risk mitigation plans, avoid escalations, resolve blockers for teams.
  • Involve in initial / detailed estimates during roadmap planning or feature estimation/planning.
  • Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
  • Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
  • Involve in building deployment Package and support deployment of releases
  • Discuss with Product Owner/team on any challenges from implementation, deployment perspective and assist in arriving probable solution and escalate any risks to get them resolved.
  • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team with regular 1-1s
  • Involve in performance management ,rewards and recognition of team members, Involve in hiring process.
  • Plan for upskill of team and ensure quicker onboarding of new joiners/freshers to team to be productive.
  • Review metrics to measure the health of the project and plan for improvement.
  • Should be able to lead multiple products when required
  • Track optimum utilization of resources and monitor/track the delivery schedule

What You Will Have

  • Candidate should have 8+ years of experience and Hands-on development experience and experience in team management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Team player
  • Good working experience of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, FOSSA, Harness etc.
  • Proven experience in handling several aspects of software including, but not limited to performance, scalability, security and testing.
  • Should be able to mentor/drive junior team members to achieve desired outcome of roadmap-
  • Ability to analyse information to identify problems and issues, and make effective decisions within short span
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking
  • Experience in integrating various components including unit testing / CI/CD configuration.
  • Experience to translate user stories, functional requirements into technical design, estimate and develop and release the same.  
  • Experience with Agile framework.
  • Familiarity with common programming best practices, data patterns, and software design structures
  • Familiarity with Unit test frameworks like Junit, Nunit etc.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate/work independently with external teams.
  • Highly motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
  • Good command of TDD/Unit Testing, Clean Code
  • Good knowledge and experience with security constructs – OpenID, OAuth 2.0, TLS, OWASP guidelines
  • Technical skills (as per role can be put under following 3 categories - just the keywords)


  • Expert:
    • .NET, C#, Web API, RESTFul Web services, JavaScript and JS Frameworks, HTML/CSS, UI/UX Responsive Design and relevant frameworks, Visual Studio, Web technologies.


  • Working knowledge:
    • In depth exposure to Web Technologies with Microsoft .NET Framework, Transactional SQL (MSSQL or MySQL), Scalable and performance design patters, Source control and branching strategy, ideally GitHub, Unit testing approach


  • Added advantage:
    • Knowledge of Healthcare domain
