Advanced develop and host multiple software products across Public Cloud, Private Cloud and on-premise data centres. We are looking for a security specialist to help us do this securely.

• As a Senior Cyber Risk Analyst - Software, you will be responsible for

  • Review of the design, build, and implementation of security systems within the Advanced network.
  • Anticipating potential threats and designing systems to pre-empt them.
  • Deliver secure code review assessments on programming languages such as Java, C#, PHP, Python, Perl, C/C++, SQL, JavaScript, Node, React, Angular, and Go.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities in source code using automated or manual static analysis tools and techniques.
  • Analyse the source code of findings reported by SAST tools and eliminate false positives.
  • Researching and designing public key infrastructures, certification authorities, and digital signatures, and ensuring all personnel have access limited to their need and role in the organization.
  • Testing the final security system and updating and upgrading it as needed.
  • Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting security breach drills.
  • Responding quickly and effectively to all security incidents and providing post-event analyses.
  • Monitoring and guiding the security team, cultivating a sense of security awareness, and arranging for continuous education.
  • Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.

• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Cyber Security Industry.

  • A bachelor's or associate degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
  • Security certifications like CEH, CISM, CISSP preferred.
  • Good working experience in information security and risk management with a focus on product security, performance, and reliability
  • Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook
  • Good working knowledge of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems, and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation, and secure development life cycle.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands on experience in working with the application security requirements.
  • Knowledge of code review tools requires (IBM app scan, open source tools for static analysis).
  • Ability to conduct manual and automation code review assessment
  • Ability to analyse root cause and impact based on likelihood and deliver strategic recommendations during security reviews.
