Role Introduction

Senior Test Engineer with experience in Performance Testing and engineering with strong background and exposure to Web applications and API testing. He/she is required to work in the Agile teams.

What You Will Do

  • Work with development teams and product managers to understand NFR requirements.
  • Development of performance test scripts using Neo Load / JMeter for all identified performance testing scenarios with Web(Http/Https/Html) , web services protocols, API testing, soap calls etc.
  • Take ownership of the non-functional test solution from project initiation to final acceptance, with responsibility for each NFT milestone within the cycle
  • Analyse performance results and produce relevant reports and quality metrics with suggestions for improvements using Observability Tools.
  • Experience in software development life cycles (waterfall/agile) and STLC lifecycle.

What You Will Have

    • 4- 5 years of experience in Performance Testing using Neo load, JMeter and other Load testing tools.
    • Experience in analysing the scenarios and creating test strategy accordingly.
    • Should have knowledge on analysing the performance of Web App, API , soap calls.
    • Trouble shooting performance related technical issues and strategizing performance tests for large or distributed programs.
    • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking
    • Ability to take ownership of business problems and technical solutions
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Hands on with engineering excellence and continuous integration practices
    • Experience in working with Agile Teams and STLC Life Cycle.


    • Added advantage:

        • K6, Gatling. Locust tools experience, customer insight tools.
        • Monitoring Tools—Grafana, Perfmon, Cloud watch, Data dog, New Relic
        • Programming Skills – Java , Python.
        • CI tools—Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
        • Sniffing tools—Fiddler, Wireshark, Chrome Dev tools.
