Role Introduction

Responsible for the target and growth of net new business in both Northern and Republic of Ireland. Delivering the correct behaviours and activity levels daily to ensure that the overall business revenue targets associated with the TAM market are achieved. Driving net new business from both self-generated and marketing leads.

What You Will Do

  • Build relationships with customer leadership team and work to understand the internal and external factors influencing their business.
  • The upsell of the wider APM products and services beyond T&A.
  • Support the wider business with targeted opportunity generation for cross sell.
  • Responsible for the growth and maintenance of a healthy pipeline at a level that gives adequate coverage for achievement of targets.
  • Drive deals in accordance with the sales playbook and deal cadence.
  • Build & maintain strong working relationships with all Advanced departments to ensure that the relevant support is available to deal with all customer queries.
  • Deliver an accurate weekly sales forecast.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to identify key opportunities for growth.
  • Negotiation and closing of new contracts, working closely with the Sales Manager.
  • Position Advanced’s strategy to the prospect leadership team.
  • Document daily activity in Salesforce to track performance.
  • Visit customers face to face regularly.
  • Create a strategic close plan for each deal.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Advanced’s product and service offerings.

What You Will Have

  • Strong and demonstrable experience of building relationships and selling at C Suite-level.
  • Consistent performance of delivering sales targets.
  • Experience selling business value to Finance and Business stakeholders using value selling and ROI tools, rather than competing on features and functions.
  • Experience in detailed strategic deal planning and closing.
  • Mastery of discovery, preparation, demonstration, securing next steps, driving deal outcome momentum.
  • Objection handling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Alignment to organisational sales cadence.
  • Frequent interaction with prospect base on LinkedIn.
  • Proven experience of selling cloud software, ideally HR, Payroll and/or Finance.
  • Is empathetic and successful at engaging with all levels in an organisation.
  • A strong focus on building relationships and working within a team-selling environment.
  • Technology awareness; for example, cloud platforms, integration, and analytics.
  • Proven track record successful self-generation experience.
