Role Introduction

Reporting directly to the CTO, this role will be responsible for: 

  • Developing and implementing an enterprise-level technology strategy and domain roadmap
  • Designing and implementing a technology architecture framework
  • Identifying critical improvements and upgrades to systems

What You Will Do

This role will be accountable for: 

 

Technology strategy

Develop and maintain an enterprise-level technology strategy that clearly articulates the technology roadmap for the next 3-5 years

Communicate the technology strategy within the organisation and ensure alignment with other strategies (e.g. Product, Sales and Service)

Technology architecture framework

Define and manage standards

Design technology architecture framework and drive implementation of a secure, stable and scalable software and hardware architecture

Plan and support transition of software and hardware of Advanced acquisitions into overall Advanced architecture

Identify improvements and upgrades to systems to meet business needs (including evaluating new technologies in the context of future-state architecture)

Analyze and define disaster recovery responsibilities and procedures

Portfolio management and streamlining

Analyze group-wide product portfolio (both ERP and DS, across categories) in terms of performance and profitability as well as fit to strategic product roadmap

Categorize existing products into different levels of priority and investment resources

Provide playbook for transitioning products into cost-efficient “maintenance mode” and migration/ discontinuation/ exit strategy for deprioritized products

Suggest additions to product portfolio to close gaps vs. strategy

Provide reports for group- and category-level product management KPI monitoring

What You Will Have

  • Experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing technology strategies.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level technology architecture and design.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
