• Lead the design and implementation of the organization's platform architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and infrastructure, to understand their platform requirements and provide architectural guidance.
• Define and document platform architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend platform technologies, solutions, and services to meet business needs and optimize performance and scalability.
• Develop platform roadmaps, taking into account emerging technologies, industry trends, and future growth.
• Conduct platform assessments and audits to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest platform trends, industry benchmarks, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with technology vendors and partners to evaluate and select platform solutions and services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in platform design and implementation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in platform architecture, design, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of platform technologies and architectures, such as microservices, APIs, and service-oriented architectures.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with platform integration, including legacy system integration and third-party platform integration.
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance, and availability considerations in platform design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in platform architecture or related areas are highly desirable (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
