As a Senior NetSuite Technical Developer, you'll be at the heart of our operations with a crucial role in designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining NetSuite applications to meet a company's requirements.

• Collaborating with Stakeholders: You will work closely with various stakeholders to clearly define project requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading Technical Design: Architect and document NetSuite solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring gaps between current operations and desired outcomes are bridged efficiently.
• Upholding Coding Standards: Establish and follow coding standards, leading code reviews to ensure maintainability, high quality, and adherence to proper design patterns.
• Managing Technical Delivery: Oversee the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration components of NetSuite projects.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for all technical aspects of NetSuite, providing strategic guidance and comprehensive knowledge across projects.
• Implementing Architecture Governance: Establish frameworks to maintain a structured, efficient, and scalable NetSuite environment.
• Establishing Best Practices: Enforce best practices focusing on system performance, data management, and integrations within NetSuite solutions.
• Leading Implementations and Upgrades: Spearhead the implementation of new NetSuite instances or significant upgrades, focusing on smooth integration and optimal functionality.
• Recommending SaaS Solutions: Identify and integrate SaaS solutions to enhance NetSuite capabilities, focusing on system performance and user experience.
• Automating Data Transfers: Implement solutions for automating data imports and exports, along with alerting and monitoring for integrations and data transfers.
• Working in M&A Environments: Adapt and respond to the unique challenges and requirements presented by mergers and acquisitions.

• Experience: At least 6 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite, including a minimum of 3 years in a NetSuite Architect role, delivering significant enterprise-level projects.
• Consultancy Background: Preferably, experience working in a consultancy, exposing you to a broad range of projects and challenges.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and team-building skills, capable of fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
• NetSuite Platform Expertise: Profound understanding of NetSuite's capabilities, including SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics. Ability to leverage these tools for creating scripts, customizations, integrations, and analytics.
• Integration Skills: Experience with integrating external applications with NetSuite using RESTlets, Web Services, and third-party middleware platforms like Boomi, or MuleSoft. Boomi being a required skill.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript for SuiteScript development. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML for front-end customization and integration purposes is also essential.
• Database Skills: Understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL. Knowledge of NetSuite’s data model and ability to write efficient, complex search queries.
• Customization and Automation: Ability to customize NetSuite to fit business processes, including custom records, fields, forms, and workflows. Expertise in automating business processes with SuiteFlow and creating dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Performance Optimization: Skills in diagnosing and optimizing performance issues within NetSuite, ensuring efficient script execution and page loading times.
• Version Control and Development Best Practices: Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Understanding of best practices in development, including code review, continuous integration, and deployment methodologies
• Security Protocols: Understanding of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, SAML, SSO) as they apply to NetSuite.
• Best Practices: Strong grasp of release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies.
• Project Management Methodologies: Experience with Agile and Kanban methodologies for project management and execution.
• Jira Experience: Bonus points for proficiency in Jira, managing tasks and workflows within software development projects.
• Financial Operations: Valued experience with the Finance, Billing Processes within NetSuite or equivalent finance processes.
• M&A Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in an M&A environment, understanding the complexities and challenges involved.
