Role Introduction

Join OneAdvanced as a Data Platform Admin, where you will play a vital role in supporting our data integration and platform administration efforts. Reporting to the Integrations Specialist, this role is key in our transition from Boomi to Prismatic, bridging technical data tasks with business needs. You will be responsible for the administration of data platforms, developing dashboards and reports, and assisting with integration tasks to ensure efficient and error-free data flows.

This position combines hands-on involvement in platform management with analytics, project tracking, and some governance responsibilities. It is ideal for someone who can serve as a middleman between technical tasks and business requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Platform Administration: Oversee daily administration of Boomi and Prismatic platforms, including user access management, configuration, and monitoring to ensure platform stability and performance.
  • Integration Support: Assist with data integration tasks such as setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Handle first-level error resolution and coordinate with the Integrations Specialist for complex issues.
  • Dashboarding and Reporting: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track platform performance, data flows, error rates, and integration status. Provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Analytics and Data Quality Monitoring: Perform data analysis to identify trends, quality issues, and performance bottlenecks. Use data insights to recommend improvements to integration processes.
  • Error Handling and Resolution: Monitor for integration errors, perform root cause analysis, and escalate as needed. Implement proactive error handling measures.
  • Governance and Compliance: Support data governance efforts by ensuring integration activities comply with policies and standards. Assist with setting up governance frameworks for data management and platform use.
  • Project Management and Task Tracking: Use Jira and ServiceNow to track tasks, manage project workflows, and maintain visibility over ongoing integration and data management efforts. Ensure timely updates on project statuses.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, platform configurations, error-handling procedures, governance policies, and dashboard/reporting standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users, translating integration requirements into technical tasks and providing updates on platform status and data quality.
  • Transition Assistance: Aid in the migration from Boomi to Prismatic, ensuring smooth data flow, continuity of services, and minimal disruptions during the transition.

What You Will Have

  • Platform Administration: Experience with Boomi and Prismatic for platform management, configuration, and monitoring. Basic knowledge of ServiceNow for workflow management is preferred.
  • Dashboarding and Reporting: Strong skills in Power BI for developing dashboards and generating reports on data quality, platform health, and integration performance.
  • Data Analytics: Ability to analyze data sets to monitor integration health, detect quality issues, and produce insights for process improvements.
  • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow for tracking tasks, managing IT workflows, and coordinating projects.
  • SQL, Excel, VBA, and Python (Preferred): Basic to intermediate skills in SQL, Excel, VBA, and Python for data analysis, error detection, and automated reporting.
  • Governance and Compliance: Understanding of data governance best practices, ensuring data integration processes align with policies.
  • Salesforce and NetSuite (Preferred): Familiarity with data models and integrations within Salesforce and NetSuite to support data flow and error management.
  • Error Handling and Monitoring Tools: Experience in handling errors, monitoring data flows, and setting up alerts for integration anomalies.
  • Business and Technical Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical tasks and business requirements, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned on data initiatives.
