Senior Technical Program Manager

 

As a Senior Technical Program Manager you will provide leadership, delivering an ambitious programme of content development, technical project management, as well as delivering change and contributing to the delivery of technology with key stakeholders. This is a leadership position and has full accountability for the successful outcome of strategic initiatives within the Product Engineering organisation. Work closely with Engineering VPs, cross-functional teams, and other key stakeholders to define the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.

What You Will Do

Key Performance Objectives

  1. Lead Strategic Engineering Programs Across the Stack
    You will coordinate and manage end-to-end delivery of technical programs involving multiple teams, technologies, and stakeholders. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, create clarity on ownership, and ensure delivery aligns with business goals.
  2. Drive Backend Development Using .NET and REST APIs
    Lead initiatives focused on building and scaling backend microservices using .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and RESTful APIs. Ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and security are embedded in the architecture.
  3. Oversee Cloud Architecture and Deployment
    Architect and optimize solutions hosted on public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Promote cloud best practices, including high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and performance monitoring.
  4. Enable Frontend Engineering Using Vue or React
    Support the delivery of user-facing applications using Vue.js or React. Ensure smooth integration with backend APIs and help drive UI/UX consistency and performance across platforms.
  5. Align Engineering Execution with Business Outcomes
    Partner with product managers, designers, and leadership to clarify priorities, break down initiatives into actionable plans, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  6. Track and Improve Engineering KPIs
    Establish meaningful technical KPIs such as deployment frequency, system uptime, issue resolution times, and code quality. Ensure continuous improvement through retrospectives, feedback loops, and performance analysis.
  7. Identify and Resolve Delivery Risks
    Proactively surface risks to timeline, scope, or quality. Use your problem-solving mindset and cross-functional influence to remove blockers and keep initiatives on track without compromising engineering excellence

 

What You Will Have

  •  

    • 12–15 years of experience in software engineering or technical program management
    • Hands-on knowledge of .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and building RESTful APIs
    • Proven experience managing software programs across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
    • Strong grasp of HTTP, web protocols, and integration of server-side and client-side applications
    • Exposure to modern frontend technologies like Vue.js or React
    • Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments
    • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
    • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or cloud architecture certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP) are preferred
